Dumpsters located on private property shall require a dumpster permit from the City Inspector's office. The fee for a private property temporary dumpster shall be $25 and shall permit location for an initial period of 30 days, which said period may be extended for an additional 30-day period at no cost. Dumpsters must be covered at all times to prevent debris from blowing out. No putrescible materials may be placed in a dumpster. If dumpster becomes a nuisance to neighbors or the general public, it may be ordered removed by the City Inspector or the Police Department.
