The Legislature of the Commonwealth of Kentucky has in KRS 151.230 delegated to local government units the authority to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of its citizenry. Therefore, the legislative body of Villa Hills, Kentucky, hereby adopts the following floodplain management ordinance, as follows.
