§ 31.01 ELECTION PROCEDURE.
   (A)   Election of city officers shall be governed by nonpartisan city election laws as provided in KRS Chapter 83A.
   (B)   The City of Villa Hills, in conducting nonpartisan primary elections for the nominations of candidates to city office, regardless of the number of candidates running for each office, foregoes the conducting of a nonpartisan primary election, and requires all candidates to file their nominating papers with the County Clerk of Kenton County no later than the second Tuesday in August before the day fixed by KRS Chapter 118 for the holding of regular election.
