The City Clerk shall forward the application to the Building Official who shall make the inspections as are necessary. The Building Official shall take the appropriate action as provided by § 110.04 of this code. If a permit shall be issued and the operation authorized by the permit shall not be commenced within 30 days after the date thereof, the permit shall thereafter be null and void and no operation shall be had thereunder, and the moving authorized therein shall not be commenced and performed until a new permit shall be obtained and the fee paid as hereinbefore provided.
