§ 94.17  CUTTING, INJURING OR ALTERING TREES LOCATED ON CITY PROPERTY; PERMISSION REQUIRED.
   It shall be unlawful to cut, break, injure, alter, or move any tree located on any street, boulevard, alley, park, or other city property without permission from the Chairperson of the Public Works Committee or his or her representative.  The provisions of this section do not apply to the following types of work performed on trees located on a boulevard:
   (A)   Pruning branches with a diameter of less than one-inch; or
   (B)   Removal of trees or branches felled by storms or high winds and presenting an immediate danger or an obstacle to travel.
