§ 31.006 INAUGURATION OF OFFICERS.
   Be it ordained by the City Council that the terms of the elected municipal officers of the city shall commence at the first regular or special meeting of the corporate authorities during the month of May following the proclamation of the results of the regular municipal election at which such officers were elected.
