§ 115.14 HOURS.
   (A)   A retail liquor license shall entitle the license to sell at retail, alcoholic liquor and beverages, and to operate and keep open for an 18-hour period of time beginning at 6:00 a.m. through 12:00 a.m. on any day of the week other than, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday of each week, the licensee may sell at retail, alcoholic liquor and beverages and operate for a 20-hour period of time beginning at 6:00 a.m. through 2:00 a.m. the following day. On Sunday of each week, the licensee may sell at retail, alcoholic liquor and beverages for a 12-hour period of time beginning at 12:00 p.m. through 12:00 a.m. On New Year’s Eve, a retail liquor licensee may sell at retail, alcoholic liquor and beverages and may operate for a 20-hour period of time beginning at 6:00 a.m. through 2:00 a.m. the following day regardless of the day of the week.
   (B)   A Class G license shall entitle the licensee to sell at retail alcoholic liquor and beverages to operate and keep open for a 20-hour period of time, beginning at 6:00 a.m. through 2:00 a.m., on any day of the week, other than Sunday. On Sunday of each week, the licensee may sell at retail alcoholic liquor and beverages for a 12-hour period of time, beginning at 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.
   (C)   No alcoholic liquor shall be sold and all licensed premises must remain closed at all other times, other than those above specified. Any holder of a retail liquor license or his or her agent or employee who violates the provisions of this code in regulating the legal hours of operation shall, upon conviction of the first offense, be fined not less than $100, nor more than $500, and for the second offense, be fined not more than $500, and suffer the revocation of such retail liquor license.
   (D)   The times referred to above shall mean Daylight Savings Time when the same is in effect in the city, and upon cessation of Daylight Savings Time, shall mean Central Standard Time.
   (E)   A restaurant may be kept open after these hours, but no alcoholic liquor may be sold or consumed by the public.
