§ 96.19 BARRIERS AND LIGHTS.
   Whoever digs or causes to be dug a ditch or excavation in or adjoining any street, sidewalk or other public place, shall erect a suitable barrier about such excavation and during the night, keep a sufficient number of red lights at such excavation and the earth therefrom.
