(A) Notice to city. Any user requesting a termination of service shall give adequate notice to the city prior to the desired date of termination of service. The customer’s utility meter(s) shall be read by the city upon notification and the user will be responsible for the usage as applicable.
(B) Responsibility for payment of consumed services. The responsibility for payment for utility service consumed prior to the date of termination shall be with the property owners as well as the user.
(C) Charges for change. There shall be no charge for transferring the utility service to a subsequent user.
