Permission must be secured from the Superintendent and City Council prior to a person connecting to the city utility systems. All utility taps and/or service connections made to the mains of the waterworks system and sewer system shall conform to the regulations and standards of the State Plumbing Code. All gas taps and/or service connections shall conform to the regulations and standards of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. The applicant shall pay the actual cost of tapping into the systems prior to connection as follows.
