(A) Outside corporate limits.
(1) The rates are inapplicable to mutual aid calls and MABAS requests from other fire departments.
(2) The following charges will apply for any fire protection assistance provided by the City Fire Department outside of the corporate limits of the city:
(a) Trucks: $250 per hour;
(b) Firefighters: $70 per hour;
(c) F-500 and/or AR-AFFF foam: $35 per gallon; and
(d) Material and other equipment costs shall be billed at actual cost of usage or replacement.
(3) Charges to and by the U.S. Forest Service will be negotiated in an exclusive mutual aid agreement between the city and the U.S. Forest Service.
(4) The above fees may be reduced on an individual case-by-case basis by motion of the City Council.
(B) Non-residents.
(1) The charge for any fire protection assistance for persons, businesses, and other entities who are not residents of the City of Vienna shall be as follows:
(a) Trucks: $250 per hour;
(b) Firefighters: $70 per hour;
(c) F-500 and/or AR-AFFF foam: $35 per gallon; and
(d) Material and other equipment costs shall be billed at actual cost of usage or replacement.
(2) Residents of the City of Vienna currently subsidize these costs through their property taxes. For the purposes of this section, a non-resident is defined as any person who does not maintain his or her full time residence within the City of Vienna or is not a majority owner of a business that operates from real property owned by a business located within the City of Vienna.
(3) The above fees may be reduced on an individual case-by-case basis by motion of the City Council.
