It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle larger in size than a class 3 vehicle as designated by the U.S. Department of Transportation Gross Vehicle Weight Rating System in a residential area or on any city street. Any such vehicle illegally parked may be removed and towed away as provided in this chapter; provided, that this section shall not apply to vehicles being in actual use for pickup and delivery work.
