A regular full-time employee of the City who is injured while he or she is performing his or her duties as such employee, with such injury making it impossible for such employee to work, shall be paid his or her regular rate of pay during the time he or she is unable to work, for a period not to exceed sixty days. The sole judges for determining payment in matters concerning such on-duty injury shall be the Director of Public Safety, the Director of Public Service, the Director of Finance, the Judge of the Vermilion Municipal Court and the Mayor, for their respective departments.
