252.03 SICK LEAVE CONVERSION.
   As used in this section, "retirement" means a regular retirement in conjunction with the guidelines of the Public Employees Retirement System and the Police and Firemen's Disability and Pension Fund.
   As used in this section, "sick leave" means that sick leave which has been accumulated while a person is employed by the City, but does not include any sick leave accumulated in any other city or state or other form of public employment.
       Upon retirement, all employees of the City shall receive payment based on the employee's rate of pay at retirement for one-half of the employee's accrued but unused sick leave, up to a maximum of ninety days, except in the Police Division, wherein upon retirement, an employee shall receive payment based on the employee's rate of pay at retirement for one-half of the employee's accrued but unused sick leave, up to a maximum of 105 days.
