The Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to impose a stop work order upon any removal, razing or demolition of a building or structure when, in his or her opinion, the requirements of Section 1472.03
are not being complied with. Work shall not be resumed until the stop work order has been removed by the person who imposed it. Failure to comply with a stop work order shall be punishable as provided in Section 1472.99.
A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day such failure continues. (Ord. 801. Passed 3-4-63.)
