1250.04 CONSTRUCTION PLANS; STREETS.
   (a)   Plan. The plan of street improvements in the subdivision shall show the stations and angles of all intersecting streets and turnarounds, as well as monument locations.
   All intersecting streets shall have a minimum curb radius of twenty-five feet.
   Where a proposed street ends in a cul-de-sac, a ball shape turnaround shall be required. The minimum radius shall be fifty-five feet, measured to the back of the curb, and the complete turnaround shall have a reinforced concrete pavement seven inches thick.
   The limits of the proposed pavement shall be clearly indicated, and all streets shall be paved within the limits of the subdivision.

   (b)   Roadway Section. The concrete pavement shall be in accordance with the City of Vermilion Standard Paving Details and Section 1250.11.

   (c)   Sidewalks.
(1)   One-course concrete sidewalks, four feet in width and four inches thick, shall be constructed in all walkways and on both sides of all streets within the subdivision. Paving brick may be used in the Harbour Town Historic District as defined by Council. Specifications shall be approved by the City Engineer. The paving brick sidewalk shall comply with the City Standards for Brick Sidewalk Detail.
(2)   Where brick sidewalks are to be laid on existing concrete, detailed construction drawings shall be presented and approved by the City Engineer, Planning Commission, Service Director and Council prior to issuance of a building permit.
   These drawings shall bear the seal of a registered engineer and show in detail the relative elevations between streets, curbs, sidewalks and buildings.
   All brick utilized under this specification shall be "hard fired paving brick". See City Standards for Brick Sidewalk Detail.

   (d)   Connections to Existing Pavements. Details of connections to existing pavements shall be shown, with particular care to maintain proper grade.
