(a) Residences or family units with a gross income of Twenty Six Thousand Dollars ($26,000.00) per year or less per year may apply for a total exemption from the charges stated in Section 1064.02 by contacting the Finance Department of the City and completing forms requested by the Department.
(b) Residences or family units which are not inhabited for a period of ninety (90) consecutive days or more in one calendar year may apply for an exemption from the charges stated in Section 1064.02 by contacting the Finance Department of the City of Vermilion and completing forms requested by the Finance Department. This exemption must be applied for in advance and will be for a stipulated period of time. There will be no refunds for any period of time when said exemption was not requested in advance of the uninhabited period.
