The failure of any owner, agent, lessee or other person in charge of any house or building in the city to provide a proper, legible street number in accordance with the provisions of §§ 97.35 and 97.36 after receiving notice by the Building Commissioners as provided herein, may subject the owner, agent, lessee or person in charge of such house or building to a fine as set forth in § 97.99.
