§ 97.15 CLASSES AND DESIGN.
   All sidewalks hereafter constructed shall be of cement or concrete and, unless otherwise especially provided for by Council, shall be of the dimensions and on the lines and grades as follows:
   (A)   Class I.
   All sidewalks on Main Street from Jefferson Street to Cherry Street;
   On the south side of Main Street from the west bank to Town Creek to Shannon Street;
   On Washington Street from Jackson Street to Crawford Street, except in front of parks, residences, or other places not used for business purposes;
   On the east side of Jefferson Street from Jackson Street to the alley running east and west between Main Street and Central Avenue;
   On West Court Street;
   On East Court Street;
   On Market Street between Jackson Street and Central Avenue;
   On Walnut Street between Jackson Street and Central Avenue, except in front of residences or other properties not used for business purposes;
   On Central Avenue from the alley between Jefferson and Washington Streets to Walnut Street;
   On Jackson Street from Jefferson Street to Walnut Street, shall extend from the building or line of the lot to the outer edge of the curb.
   (B)   Class II.
   All sidewalks on Main Street from Cherry Street to Wayne Street;
   On Main Street from the east bank of Town Creek to Jefferson Street;
   On the north side of Main Street between Shannon Street and the west bank of Town Creek;
   On Main Street from Shannon Street to Lynn Street;
   On North Washington Street from Jackson Street to First Street;
   Those places excepted in Class I above, on South Washington Street and Walnut Street;
   On South Washington Street from Crawford Street to the angle in front of Subdivision 238;
   On the east side of Jefferson Street from the alley running east and west between Main Street and Central Avenue to Crawford Street, shall be 6 feet wide, the inner edge thereof to be 2 feet from the line of the lots, the space between the lot line and the sidewalk to be sodded, and the space between the outer edge of the sidewalk and curb to be sodded and graded from the outer edge of the sidewalk to the curb.
   (C)   Class III.
   All sidewalks on North Washington Street from First Street to Third Street;
   On Market Street from Jackson Street to Third Street;
   On Shannon Street from Main Street to George Street;
   On Sycamore Street from Jefferson Street to Walnut Street;
   On Jefferson Street from Jackson Street to First Street, shall be 5 feet wide, the inner edge thereof to be 2 feet from the lot line, the space between the lot line and the sidewalk to be sodded, and the space between the outer edge of the sidewalk and the curb to be sodded and graded from the outer edge of the sidewalk to the curb.
   (D)   Class IV.
   All sidewalks hereafter constructed which are not included in Classes I, II, or III shall be 4 feet in width on streets included in this class which are 50 feet or more in width, and the inner edge of the sidewalks shall be 3 feet from the lot line; and on streets less than 50 feet, the inner edge of the sidewalk shall be 1 foot from the line of the lot. The space between the inner edge of the sidewalk and the curb shall be sodded and shall be on a grade from the outer edge of the sidewalk to the top of the curb.
