§ 97.01 PERMIT TO DISTURB PAVED STREETS FOR GAS MAINS.
   (A)   No person shall disturb any paved street when laying new gas mains or relaying old mains unless that person first obtains a permit from the Director of Public Safety and Service, who shall supervise the repair of the street after the completion of the work. The repair of any paved or improved street shall be made without delay and to the satisfaction of the Director.
   (B)   The Director shall give a permit when he or she deems it necessary. Whenever repairs or house connections may be made without disturbing any paved or improved street, a permit to disturb the street shall be denied.
