(A) It shall be unlawful for any person injuring or killing a dog by running over or into same, or coming into contact with same with automobile, motorcycle, bicycle, or other vehicle to fail to notify immediately the owner of said dog, the Animal Shelter or other law enforcement personnel by phone/ answering machine.
(B) Any citizen in violation of the above shall be guilty of cruel treatment and subject to prosecution and/or a citation.
