(a) Class D-1. A factory-built home certified as meeting the North Carolina Building Codes and associated codes as applicable to modular housing homes, which has not been placed on a permanent or temporary site and/or not been used for human habitation previously.
(b) Class D-2. A factory-built home certified as meeting the North Carolina Building Codes and associated codes as applicable to modular housing homes, which has been placed on a permanent or temporary site and/or has been used for human habitation previously, and that is found upon inspection to be in excellent or good condition and safe and fit for residential occupancy.
