(A) The granting of a permit under the provisions of this chapter shall in no way affect any other type of approval required by any other statute or ordinance of the state or any political subdivision of the state or of the United States, but shall be construed as an added requirement.
(B) No permit for the construction of any structure to be located shall be granted unless the applicant has first obtained the permit required by this chapter.
