(A) The Planning Board shall meet and elect a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson within 30 days after appointment to the Planning Board. The term of the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson shall be 1 year, with eligibility of reelection. The Planning Board shall keep a record of its members’ attendance and of its resolutions, discussions, findings and recommendations, which record shall be a public record.
(B) The Planning Board shall meet when necessary and in accordance with the provisions of G.S. Chapter 143, Article 33C, “Public Meetings Laws.” There shall be a quorum of 4 members for the purpose of taking any official action.
