(A) The Planning Board shall consist of 7 members. All members shall be citizens and residents of the county and shall be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (1 member from each of the 7 voting districts shall be appointed).
(B) Members shall be appointed to 3-year terms.
(C) Vacancies occurring for reasons other than expiration of terms shall be filled as they occur for the period of the unexpired term. Faithful attendance at the meetings of the Planning Board and conscientious performance of duties required of the members of the Planning Board shall be considered a prerequisite for continued membership on the Planning Board.
