236.01 SELECTION; TERM AND QUALIFICATIONS.
   (a)   Council shall provide legal counsel for the Village or any department or official thereof for a period not to exceed two years.
(ORC 733.48)
   (b)   No person shall be eligible to the office of Solicitor who is not an attorney or counselor at law duly admitted to practice in this State. (1965 Code Sec. 139.01)
