3-2-3: GUIDELINES:
All persons disposing of sewage wastes within any of the areas described in section 3-2-2 of this chapter shall comply with the following guidelines:
   A.   Black Water: All black water must be contained in self-contained holding tanks. Portable toilets are to be disposed of at a dump station or covered garbage can for bagged wastes. "Black water" shall be defined as wastewater contaminated with human fecal material.
   B.   Gray Water:
      1.   All gray water must be contained in holding tanks and disposed of at approved dumping stations. "Gray water" shall be defined as wastewater from bathing, clothes washing and dishwashing.
      2.   In the event gray water generation is less than five (5) gallons per day, such gray water may be discarded on the ground or in shallow pits provided that:
         a.   Campground rules allow for such disposal;
         b.   The water is disposed of at least fifty feet (50') away from the high water mark of a lake or tributary;
         c.   The water is disposed of at least fifty feet (50') from the camping area; and
         d.   The gray water is relatively free of food scraps and other organic matter. (Ord. 87-3, 6-22-1987, eff. 7-1-1987)
