All services shall obtain the services of a New Mexico licensed physician to act as medical director for that service, as defined in the Emergency Medical Services Directory published by the New Mexico State EMS Bureau. The service agrees that on every occasion when an ambulance or rescue unit is used pursuant to this subchapter, they shall function in strict adherence to established protocols. The service shall provide the Medical Advisory Board with a current copy of is protocols.
