(A) Comply with regulations. Ambulance and rescue transport unit design and equipment shall at all times comply with the regulations as promulgated by the State of New Mexico Public Regulatory Commission Rule 252 and VCEMS Board and other applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and standards.
(B) Design.
(1) Vehicle design and specifications shall be determined by VCEMS Board by-laws and/or standard operating procedures.
(2) Fire department pumpers, passenger cars and station wagons that are non-transport capable shall not be typically identified as rescue transport units.
