(A) Generally. Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
(B) Engine retarders.
(1) Any person who violates any of the provisions of §§ 70.25 et seq. shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
(2) Each violation of this subchapter shall be punishable by a fine of no more than $300, and/or imprisonment for no more than 90 days, or both.
(C) Any person who operates a truck and/or truck trailer, with a gross vehicle weight of five tons or more, over North Rio Del Oro Road, east of Manzano Expressway to Valencia High School without a permit in violation of §§ 70.45 through 70.52 shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not exceeding $300 or by imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or both. The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Valencia is also entitled to injunctive relief to enforce the provisions of §§ 70.45 through 70.52.
