It is agreed between the town and the state agency that the services of members of all gov erning boards will be covered under Social Se curity by this agreement, provided the follow ing optional exclusion is ruled out and initialed by the mayor, chairman, or other office em powered to execute this agreement:
Services of elective officials comprising the governing board and members of all other boards, comm1ss1ons, councils, committees where such positions are filled by the General Assembly, a board or committee or by the qualified electorate of the particular jurisdiction involved and the members of any and all other said boards whose duties require not more than 1,000 hours of service per year.
