No person shall place any clothing, goods, merchandise, fruit, vegetables or other articles of trade, or place any table, stand, box or barrel containing clothing, goods, merchandise, fruit, vegetables or other articles of trade upon any sidewalk, a greater distance from the building or other line of the lot or premises than three feet.
