The license issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be exhibited in the place of business by an itinerant vendor or transient dealer, and shall be carried by any peddler, solicitor or canvasser at all times when peddling, soliciting or canvassing and shall be exhibited to any person being solicited or any police officer on request. Further, an identification badge shall be issued to all peddlers, solicitors or canvassers, which shall be worn by them when peddling, soliciting or canvassing.
