733.06 INVESTIGATIONS.

The Director of Finance or the Chief of Police shall make the investigations and inquiries throughout the conduct of any sale for which a license is required under Section 733.01, as he shall deem advisable to effectuate the provisions and purposes of this chapter and shall administer oaths, if necessary, in connection with taking testimony appertaining thereto.
