No person, whether an exhibitor or a nonexhibitor of a mechanical amusement device, knowingly shall use, play or operate the mechanical amusement device, or cause or permit the use, play or operation of the mechanical amusement device, for gambling purposes, or for wagering or chance, or as a gambling device or for any purpose other than the entertainment and test of skill of the player or operator thereof.(1984 Code Sec. 115.02)
