(a) Effective January 1, 2021, the compensation for the Council President shall be set by the Salary Commission pursuant to Section 4.06(k) of the Urbana City Charter. The Director of Finance shall pay the President in equal monthly installments.
(b) The Council President may receive an additional stipend for mileage and reimbursement of costs to attend any training program approved by a majority of Council, provided that such compensation shall not exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) annually.
(c) The Council President shall be assigned a tablet computer upon taking office and shall comply with the same conditions as other Council Members as outlined in Section 111.03(c).
