Council may establish positions for persons as special policemen, who shall receive such compensation as Council may provide. The Director of Administration shall be the executive head of this auxiliary unit. The special policemen shall be subject to the order and direction of the Chief of Police, and shall conform to and be governed by the provisions of these Codified Ordinances and other ordinances of the City.
