The third ward of the City shall be composed of the territory lying and being within the following described boundaries: beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of U.S. Route 68 (also being known as Main Street) and East Church Street; thence in a northerly direction with the centerline of U.S. Route 68 to the centerline of the Indiana and Ohio Railway, such railroad being the first set of tracks north of Boyce Street; thence with the centerline of the Indiana and Ohio Railway prolonged in a northeasterly direction to the northern corporation line; thence with the northern and eastern corporation lines to the intersection of the centerline of U.S. Route 36; thence in a westerly direction with the centerline of U.S. Route 36 to the intersection of the centerline of East Lawn Avenue; thence in a northerly direction with the centerline of East Lawn Avenue to the intersection of the centerline of East Church Street; thence in a westerly direction with the centerline of East Church Street to the place of beginning.
