133.01 INVESTMENT OF TREASURY FUNDS.

Whenever there are moneys in the Treasury of the City, which will not be required to be used for a period of six months or more, the moneys may, in lieu of being deposited in a bank, be invested in the obligations of the City in the manner prescribed in Sections 133.02 to 133.05.
