(a) The salary of the Assistant Director of Law shall be established by Council and be payable in monthly installments out of the General Fund of the City. The salary shall be in addition to any allowance of compensation made to the Assistant Director of Law from funds paid by the County Commissioners pursuant to Ohio R.C. 1901.34.
(b) In the event there is no Assistant Director of Law, the Director of Law shall also perform the duties of Prosecuting Attorney in the Municipal Court and in that event, the compensation payable to the Director of Law and Assistant Director of Law shall be payable to the Director of Law so long as there is no Assistant Director of Law and the Director of Law shall also perform the duties of Prosecuting Attorney. Such salary shall be in addition to any allowance of compensation made by the County Commissioners of the County, pursuant to the provisions of Ohio R.C. 1901.34, out of County funds.
