The Community Development Division is supervised, managed and directed by the Grant Manager/Community Development Officer. The mission of the Community Development Division shall be to seek, acquire and administer economic and community development grants (subject to appropriate Council and/or administration approval); administer and enforce the City's equal opportunity-affirmative action programs; oversee implementation of revenue sharing regulations regarding the handicapped; assist in administrative activities of the Department of Administration and promote economic development activities within the City.
