(a) Effective January 1, 2021, the annual salary for the office of Mayor shall be set by the Salary Commission pursuant to Section 4.06(k) of the Urbana City Charter.
(b) Effective January 1, 2016, the additional amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) shall be deemed appropriated to the Mayor’s Discretionary Account on an annual basis without further specific action of Council. Funds in this account may be expended for municipal purposes, such as travel, training, equipment, etc., at the Mayor’s discretion.
