The owner of the following structures shall install and maintain a key lock box at or near the main entrance, or other location as required by the jurisdictional Fire Department Chief:
(A) All newly constructed commercial structures containing a fire alarm system that uses an automatic dialer or an automatic fire suppression system;
(B) All newly constructed multi-family residential structures with four or more units in which access is restricted by locked doors, and have a common corridor for access to the living quarters, mechanical, and/or electrical rooms;
(C) All newly constructed governmental structures, school facilities, medical and nursing care facilities;
(D) Any existing commercial or industrial structures undertaking additions, alterations, repairs, when the estimated value is $100,000 or greater;
(E) Commercial and industrial structures and/or properties identified by the jurisdictional Fire Chief; and
(F) All newly constructed structures subject to these requirements shall have the key lock box installed and operational prior to the issuance of an occupancy permit.
