§ 50.40 YARD WASTE RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   (A)   The Board hereby promulgates rules and regulations for the use of the facility as set forth below.
      (1)   The facility is available for use by township residents only.
      (2)   Vehicle and trailer restrictions are limited to GVWR/combination of less than 26,001 lbs.
      (3)   Commercial haulers or yard services providers are prohibited from accessing or using the facility.
      (4)   Commercial or licensed business vehicles are permitted to use the facility to drop off yard waste provided that:
         (a)   The vehicles are registered to a resident of the township;
         (b)   The yard waste is generated from the residence where the vehicle is registered; and
         (c)   The owner of the vehicle has previously provided documentation of the address of the vehicle satisfactory to the township.
      (5)   Only leaves, grass clippings, leafy garden residue, branches and brush provided they have diameter of less than four inches and a length of less than eight feet, and logs, provided they have a diameter of four inches or greater and are cut to less than 20 inches in length, may be dropped off at the facility.
      (6)   All leaf materials, branches and logs must be separated and placed at the designated location(s).
      (7)   The following materials are strictly prohibited from being dropped off or deposited at the township's site: sod, soil, stones, demolition materials, stumps, logs four inches or greater or a diameter longer than 20-inch lengths, animal wastes, trash or treated lumber.
   (B)   The Board authorizes the Township Manager to establish the hours of operation for the facility and directs that the hours be posted at the facility and listed on the township’s website.
   (C)   The Board reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations by resolution.
