A member who terminates his employment with the township as a full-time police officer for any reason other than for a service-connected total disability before reaching his normal retirement age shall be entitled to his accrued normal retirement benefit payable beginning on his superannuation retirement date, provided that the member satisfies the requirements described in § A261-44.
