The speed limit on all streets, within the corporate limits of the town excluding school zones and those streets specifically designated below, shall be 25 mph. However, nothing herein shall be construed so as to impose by this schedule any speed limit upon any state highway within the corporate limits of the town which is governed by state imposed speed limits.
