(A) Any person violating any provision of this traffic code for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
(B) Any person or person who shall be legally charged with a violation of the provisions of § 70.02 of this chapter shall be fined $20.

(C) (1) Whoever violates any provision of § 70.03 of this chapter for which a penalty is not already otherwise provided shall pay an assessment of $25, paid within 72 hours to the Clerk-Treasurer.
(2) In the event that any person who is charged with a violation under § 70.03 of this chapter fails to pay as above provided, such person shall be charged in Town Court and, upon conviction, shall be fined not less than $25, nor more than $500.
(D) (1) Any person who violates any provision of Ch. 72 of this traffic code commits an ordinance violation and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than $100, which shall be deposited in the General Fund.
(2) (a) Any person who is accused of violating Ch. 72 of this traffic code may settle and compromise the claim against that person by paying $20 to the Clerk-Treasurer if that is the first violation charged against that person during that calendar year, or by paying $50 if the violation is the second or subsequent violation charged against that person during that calendar year.
(b) Moving violations shall be subject to a fine of $50 per violation.
(c) Any settlement under this division (D) must be made by paying the required sum the Clerk-Treasurer no later than 30 days after the time of the violation set forth on the citation. The Clerk- Treasurer shall issue a receipt for the settlement money and deposit it in the town’s General Fund. The Clerk-Treasurer shall advise the town’s Police Department of this settlement.
(d) If settlement is not paid within 30 days, the ordinance violation shall be referred to the Town Attorney for collection and payment of court costs.
(e) The Clerk-Treasurer shall report all moving violations to the state and shall deem these violations to be convictions pursuant to state code.

(E) Any person who violates any provision of Ch. 73 of this traffic code commits an ordinance violation and, upon conviction, may be fined as set forth in division (D) above.
