When a fee required by Section 1496.07 is required with reference to the occupancy of two or more buildings occupied totally by one person, firm, corporation or other business entity for the purpose of carrying on substantially the same type and nature of business under one business name or trade style, then the two or more buildings shall be considered as one for the purpose of determining the applicable maximum fee.
