Each dwelling unit in any multiple family dwelling may contain other rooms in addition to those required by Section 1482.03, subject to the following provisions:
(a) Any such additional rooms other than the type described in Section 1482.03(d) and (e) shall contain a minimum of 100 square feet of habitable floor area and have a minimum width of eight feet.
(b) Any additional room of a type described in Section 1482.03(d) shall meet at least the minimum requirements for such room, as provided in such division (d).
