Any party desiring to demolish, destroy or tear down any building or structure of any type with 576 square feet or more of floor space must obtain a demolition permit form from the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, and complete and return the application for a demolition permit to the Clerk-Treasurer with the bond required below before proceeding with demolition. No person shall proceed with the demolition of any building larger than 576 square feet without first obtaining such a demolition permit and posting the necessary bond.
